Privacy Policy

Effective 26 August 2026

V4 DevLabs ("V4 DevLabs", "we", "us", or "our") builds and operates this website along with the products and programmes referenced on it, including NextBrick and the Early Builder programme. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it's used and protected, and the choices available to you.

By using this website, submitting a form, or using the NextBrick platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

Who this policy applies to

This policy covers visitors to this website; people who submit the contact or pilot programme forms; homeowners, builders, supervisors, and vendors who use the NextBrick platform; and applicants to the Early Builder programme.

If you're using NextBrick as part of a project, additional project-specific terms agreed with your NextBrick coordinator may apply alongside this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, and the contents of any message, when you fill out a form on this site, apply to the Early Builder programme, or register for NextBrick.

Information collected through NextBrick: as part of delivering independent construction oversight, we collect project details, site inspection photos and videos, progress reports, milestone and issue records, verification documents submitted by builders and supervisors, and payment-milestone evidence tied to a specific project.

Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected when you use this website.

How we use this information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve this website and the NextBrick platform
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact or pilot programme forms
  • Review and process Early Builder programme applications
  • Verify the identity and credentials of builders and supervisors before granting platform access or a Verified Builder badge
  • Create, store, and deliver inspection reports, milestone records, and the permanent project archive on behalf of homeowners
  • Communicate service updates, respond to support requests, and send information you've requested
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, misuse, or security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

When we share information

We share project information with the specific people working on that project (for example, a homeowner's assigned coordinator, supervisor, and the builder recorded against that project), limited to what each role needs to do its job.

We share information with service providers who help us operate our services, such as hosting, cloud storage, and payment processing providers, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for the purpose we've engaged them for.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, property, or safety of V4 DevLabs, our users, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets. In that case, we'll take reasonable steps to notify affected users.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet the purposes described in this policy, or comply with legal and contractual obligations.

Project records created through NextBrick (inspection reports, photos, milestone verifications) form part of the permanent digital archive described in your package, and are retained accordingly even after a project is complete, since their purpose is to remain a lasting, trustworthy record. You can ask us about deleting other personal information we hold about you; we'll honour that request unless we're required to keep it for legal, safety, or dispute-resolution reasons.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls that limit project data to people with a legitimate role on that project. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

International data

V4 DevLabs and NextBrick operate from India, and many of the homeowners we work with live overseas. This means your information may be accessed, stored, and processed in India regardless of where you're located. By using our services, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you're located and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website currently uses only the technical storage necessary to make it function correctly. If we introduce analytics or other tracking technologies in future, we'll update this policy to describe what's used and the choices available to you.

Most browsers let you control or disable cookies through their settings; doing so may affect how parts of the site work.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
